On an Oct. 26^th call with LeadingAge affordable housing provider members, Katina Washington, acting branch chief for grants and new funding at the HUD Office of Asset Management and Portfolio Oversight, gave an update on current Service Coordinator issues. CISA, the FBI, and HHS issued a joint advisory last week describing the threat of ransomware attacks known as Ryuk and Conti and the steps providers can take to mitigate the threat. At the same time, DOH issued an advisory referencing three ransomware attacks occurring over the last two weeks that have impacted a health system, a separate hospital, a local health department, and its county-operated ACF.

Providers should schedule their activities accordingly.
