DOH Posts FIDA Open Questions FAQ
The Department of Health has posted answers to a new set of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) on the Full Integrated Duals Advantage (FIDA) MRT web page noting that the enrollment start date for Region 2 (Suffolk and Westchester counties) has not yet been determined. Enrollment in this region was delayed due to provider network adequacy concerns. These questions follow two recently posted FIDA FAQ sets, one focusing on behavioral health and hospice, the other on Dec. 2015 FIDA program reforms.
The latest set of FAQs addresses:
- disenrollment of individuals refusing to be assessed;
- the U-File process for transfers and new enrollments;
- revised marketing materials;
- residential addiction services;
- compensation of employed agents;
- FIDA plan responsibilities related to the Money Follows the Person Initiative; and
- eligibility for residents of mental health facilities.
