Kara Gemmell has been promoted to director of independent living for The Nottingham at Loretto.
Most recently, she was the director of therapeutic recreation, and started at Loretto in 2017.
Gemmell holds a bachelor’s degree in recreation management and policy, therapeutic recreation, and psychology from the University of New Hampshire Durham.
She is a certified therapeutic recreation specialist and a member of the LeadingAge New York IGNITE Leadership Academy.
