CMS to Hold SNF Open Door Forum on Aug. 6th
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has scheduled a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Open Door Forum (ODF) for 2 to 3 p.m. on Thurs., Aug. 6th. The agenda includes updates on the recently finalized SNF Medicare payment rule, Payroll-Based Journal (PBJ) staffing data submissions that are due Aug. 14th, and the Minimum Data Set (MDS) item set. After the updates, CMS staff will field questions.
To participate, dial 1-888-455-1397 and enter passcode 9375124. No advance registration is required, but participants are advised to call in 15 minutes prior to the start time.
CMS posts archived versions of ODFs on its Podcast and Transcripts webpage here. Those unable to join at the scheduled time and not willing to wait until the archived version is posted may use the Instant Replay option, which makes the audio recording available one hour after the call, by dialing 1-800-925-4415 (no password needed).
