Deadline Extended for Offers in Fiscal Intermediary Authorization Process
The Department of Health (DOH) has extended the deadline for submission of offers for authorization of Fiscal Intermediaries (FIs) in New York State. The deadline is now March 3, 2020. Additionally, DOH intends to release responses to the written questions on Jan. 31, 2020 and maintains an anticipated contract start date of July 1st. These extensions were communicated in amendments to Request for Offers (RFO) #20039.

Under the authority and provisions of section 365-f of the Social Services Law...the New York State Department of Health (“DOH” or “Department”) is seeking competitive responses to this Request for Offers (“RFO”) from potentially qualified entities to enter into contract with the Department to provide Fiscal Intermediary (FI) services under the Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP) for persons enrolled in fee for service Medicaid and the Medicaid managed care program (collectively “NY Medicaid”).
