DOH Announces Emergency Preparedness Drills

The New York State Department of Health (DOH) will be conducting five regional Interoperable Communications (IOC) drills between February and April 2020. The drills are being conducted in conjunction with a federal exercise entitled the Coalition Surge Test and are open to hospitals, nursing homes, adult care facilities (ACFs), home care, and hospice providers.

DOH will be holding two informational webinars to discuss the drill and answer questions from providers on Wed., Jan. 29, 2020 from 10 to 11 a.m. The webinar will be repeated from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Both webinars will provide the same information. The webinar will also be recorded.

There is no registration for either webinar. You can access the webinar of your choice using the links available here on the day of the program, approximately 15 minutes before the 10 a.m. start time and 15 minutes before the 2:30 p.m. start time.
