CFO Council Meeting Friday!
We remind member CFOs and financial professionals that the first of several CFO Council meetings is scheduled for this Friday, May 21st, at 11 a.m. It will include a review of the enacted State Budget as well as a reimbursement update and will feature a brief presentation by Cona Elder Law on some important considerations regarding newly passed marijuana provisions.
The presentations should go no later than 12:15 p.m., but after the presentations, interested participants will be invited to join an interactive meeting to continue the discussion. Since we are not able to meet in person yet, we are especially interested in hearing from members about their concerns and priorities, which this format will facilitate.
We thank Cona Elder Law for their kind sponsorship of the meeting and their willingness to share their expertise. As always, CFO Council meetings are free, but we ask that you register in advance here.
While anyone from a member organization is welcome to attend, the financial session will focus largely on nursing home issues and be of greatest interest to finance staff. A more general reimbursement session is available at the Virtual Annual Conference that kicks off tomorrow, May 19th, and continues on the 20th, 25th, 26th, and 27th.
