Program Summary: This flu season is proving to be one of the worst in recent years, and experts don’t think the season has peaked yet. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the elderly and people with chronic conditions are at particular risk of developing flu related complications. This webinar is designed to provide adult care facility and assisted living providers with the information and tools to be proactive and protect their residents from the flu. We will also discuss how to best manage and contain an outbreak, and what steps facilities must take to report an outbreak. Lastly, we will recommend protocols you should put in place for staff and visitors during flu season, to help keep your residents safe and healthy.
