Date/Time: March 16, 2017, 2 - 3 p.m.
Presenter: Nicholas E. Gabriele, CFPS, Vice President, Russell Phillips & Associates, LLC
Target audience: Staff from ACF providers in the five boroughs of New York City who are involved in the facility’s emergency preparedness planning and response. This could include administrators, plant managers or other staff involved in such activities. This is open to all NYC ACFs; you do not need to be a member of LeadingAge New York.
Session Description: What exactly is a Hazard Vulnerability Analysis (HVA)? This webinar will explain what an HVA is, and why it is critical that your organization conduct this process and document your findings. Participants will also learn about engagement of community partners, and be provided a Best Practice tool to guide you in your facility’s analysis.
Credit: Participants will receive a one hour of ACF educational credit. No NAB credit is offered.
We can offer this program free of charge to New York City Adult Care Facility (ACF) providers, thanks to the support of a Grant funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Coordinating Office for Terrorism Preparedness and Emergency Response. This is the second program in a series of four webinars on Emergency Preparedness for NYC ACFs.
