PAOP Meets This Week to Hear From Upstate PPSs

The Project Advisory and Oversight Panel (PAOP) has been meeting this week on Mon. and Tues. Click here for more information and the agenda for the two days, during which the PAOP will receive an update from the upstate PPSs. The program is being webcast live here. Once the program is over, it will be archived here. Questions about the PAOP may be directed to the Department of Health (DOH) at dsrip@health.ny.gov.

Window of Opportunity to Join a PPS

DOH has reopened the Provider Network tool so that PPSs can add partners to their networks for performance purposes only. The partner could be entitled to a certain percentage of the PPS’s award depending on the provider’s safety net status. Providers that are interested in joining a PPS at this point should contact your local PPS lead(s). Click here for PPS contact information.

DOH Provides Presentation on Valuation Process for PPSs

DOH has posted a presentation that was given to PPSs to help explain the project valuation process, or the maximum amount a PPS can earn in a quarter. Click here to view the presentation. PPS specific project valuation breakdown templates were distributed to all PPS leads at the end of October.

Conversations on the MIX

Recently, on the Medicaid Redesign Team Innovation Exchange (the MIX), there has been discussion about successful project management approaches and governance. A PPS participant provided a glossary of DSRIP acronyms, and the Adirondack Health Institute kicked off a new discussion in the Data Sharing and IT Group on the Salient Interactive Miner (SIM) tool.
