Amanda's Law - What Senior Services Providers Need to Know!
This program is a webinar (audio and slides) of the June 3, 2010 NYAHSA Education program on Amanda’s Law, the law that was recently passed mandating standards for the installation and maintenance of carbon monoxide detectors in a variety of senior housing and institutional settings, including nursing homes, ACF/Assisted Living, and senior housing. The 90-minute webinar, including a Q&A session, consists of an overview of the law, current interpretation of the law as it applies across the senior services sector, and specific examples of how to apply the law.
