Pre-Admission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR): DOH Update

Program Summary:
Department of Health staff will explain the PASRR federal and state regulations. Additionally, DOH will also cover PASRR Screen and Level II assessments and outline the new PASRR New York State Level II Adult Mental Health Evaluation Report, describing the role it plays in assuring individuals receive the necessary information and specialized services they need. The speaker will also outline the interface and coordination between the hospital and nursing home settings necessary to assure the appropriate and timely completion of the PASRR assessment process.
