LeadingAge New York Leadership Academy

Ignite Your Leadership Flame!

LeadingAge New York has launched the New York-based Leadership Academy! This transformational leadership platform is designed to foster growth and relationships among our current and next generations of leaders within New York’s non-profit providers of care, housing and service to seniors.

This program is modeled on national and other state leadership programs – most designed by consultant Michele Holleran – but will focus on topics of interest to New York members.  For more information, click on the links for the brochure and application below or feel free to contact Kristen Myers at kmyers@leadingageny.org.

The 2013 Leadership Academy application deadline has passed and the inaugural class will be announced very soon.

Participating in the Leadership Academy was genuinely rewarding. It was much more than an academic education in leadership.  The Academy provided an opportunity to learn first-hand from respected professionals in our field of aging services - peers with whom I now have developed a network and freindships to last a lifetime.
