Advocacy Alert! Contact Gov. Cuomo Today to Approve CCRC Legislation

Now that our Continuing Care at Home legislation passed in the Assembly and the Senate, it is time to focus our attention on getting it signed by the Governor. The Governor has until the end of the year to “call up” and act on legislation that is passed by the Legislature. We do not know when this bill will be called up for consideration. In the meantime, we will be working with the Governor’s office and the Department of Health over the coming weeks and months to answer any questions and encourage their support for the bill since the Governor will seek their input when making his decision. Please ask your residents, staff and families to send a letter to Gov. Cuomo, urging him to approve the bill.
