2015-16 State Budget Agreement Announced

The Governor and legislative leaders came to a final budget agreement late Sunday night. LeadingAge New York policy staff analyzed the budget documents and developed this initial summary of the final elements of the budget agreement that are of most interest to members. Please note that we are waiting for the last remaining budget bills to be released. Accordingly, the summary does not include an analysis of the capital spending initiatives and certain other proposals contained in the Executive Budget. LeadingAge NY is continuing to analyze the budget legislation and will provide a more comprehensive analysis of the budget within a week.
